The Board of the Chamber of Accounts in its meeting held on 25 June 2012 discussed the audit results on forecasting and utilization of budget funds allocated to Nizami Children-Youth Creative Center under the Ministry of the Education from the centralized expenditures of “Education” section of the state budget.
Taking into account the cases of abuse from their positional powers by officials, several serious financial violations, gaps and errors made, the Board in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the Chamber of Accounts” and the requirements of the 7th item of the decree numbered 103 dated 22 June 2009 decided to send the audit materials to the Office of the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to send notifications to the Ministry of the Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to carry out the relevant serious activities for elimination of revealed gaps and errors during the audit, as well as to inform the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the audit results in compliance with the 19.7 Article of the Internal regulation of the Chamber of Accounts.
The Board also approved the audit programme on forecasting and utilization of funds allocated from “Housing and communal economy” section of the state budget to the entities and organizations under the executive power of Shamkir district.
